Finding the Right Information… When you need it!

Do you ever have trouble finding the information you need when you need it? Being resourceful in our industry can make a business very successful. Even if your technicians don’t know everything about every possible system in the field they can learn a few facts to know how to get them from “huh?” to the correct solution to the problem.
One of those ways is to use a smartphone. For those of you that have an iPhone or Android there are a bunch of awesome apps that will help your technicians get the information they need, and fast!

Dupont Refrigerants PT Mobile App is on iTunes

Today I downloaded the new mobile PT (pressure/temperature) app from iTunes. It’s pretty cool, it will do many major refrigerants as well as the new MO99 refrigerant that replaces R22 in retrofit applications.

The PT Calc app, as it’s called on iTunes, allow you to select the refrigerant from a list and choose to either calculate the pressure based on the temperature or vise-versa. The app also calculates superheat and subcool for the included refrigerants.
